Spring break doesn't need a minute-by-minute schedule.
But a loose rhythm? That helps everyone.
The Gentle Rhythm
Instead of "9am crafts, 10am snack, 11am..."
Try thinking in blocks:
Morning: Active time (outside if possible, movement activities)
Midday: Calm time (quiet play, reading, rest)
Afternoon: Free choice (screen time, independent play)
Evening: Connection (dinner together, bedtime rituals)
That's it. Four blocks. Room to breathe.

Kids feel secure with some predictability.
But rigid schedules stress YOU out.
Rhythms give structure without pressure. "After active time comes calm time" is enough.
The First Day Reality
