A Week Outside Challenge (Start Tomorrow)

Tuesday, April 21, 2026
By Capy

Here's a gentle challenge:

Get outside every day this week.

Not for hours. Just... some time. Daily.

The Challenge

7 days. Some outside time each day.

That's it. Simple.

What Counts

  • 10 minutes in the backyard
  • A walk around the block
  • Playing at a park
  • Eating a snack on the porch
  • Sitting in the grass

It ALL counts.

Why a Week

A week is:

  • Short enough to commit to
  • Long enough to notice benefits
  • A good habit-building window

After 7 days, you might just keep going.

The Permission

Some days will be 5 minutes.

Some days might be only stepping on the porch.

Rain doesn't cancel — rain gear counts.

The bar is LOW. Just outside.

Notice What Happens

Pay attention to:

  • How kids sleep
  • How moods shift
  • How YOU feel
  • What you notice in nature

A week of observation can change perspective.

You In?

Tomorrow starts the week.

One day at a time. One step outside at a time.
